Orange City Man Injured In Crash

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man was taken to the hospital after he struck a parked car in Orange City on Tuesday, August

The Orange City Police Department reports that about 9:00 AM, 90-year-old William Lovelady of Orange City was eastbound on Second Street Northwest in Orange City in a 2008 Chevy, when he struck a legally-parked 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman owned by Brian Burke of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

According to the report, Lovelady reported that his windshield was fogged over and he couldn’t see very well.

Lovelady was transported to Orange City Health System Hospital by Orange City Ambulance.

Lovelady’s Chevy received $3000 damage. Burke’s Mini also received $3000 damage.

Lovelady was charged with Driving With Obstructed View.
