Orange City Teen Arrested, Charged With Drug Offenses

Andrew HemmelmanOrange City, Iowa — An Orange City teen was arrested on drug charges after an investigation.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday evening (3/28), their office and the Orange City Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Second Street Northwest and Colorado Avenue in Orange
City.

The traffic stop stemmed from an ongoing joint investigation between the two agencies.

As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Andrew Hemmelman of Orange City was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance to a minor, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
