Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Two In Separate Incidents

Osceola Sheriff Car 72-2Sibley, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in two separate incidents.

An Ocheyedan man was arrested on several charges after a 911 call late on Sunday (5/19).

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports their deputies arrested 39-year-old Troy Edgar Harris of Ocheyedan and charged him with Third Offense Domestic Abuse, a Class “D” Felony, Obstruction of Emergency Communication, a Simple Misdemeanor and False Imprisonment, a Serious Misdemeanor. The arrest stemmed from a 911 call made in the 5900 mile of 180th Street southwest of Ocheyedan.

A Sibley man was arrested a couple of hours later.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputies report they arrested 29-year-old Cliff Edwin Garnett of Sibley after the communication center received a 911 call about Garnett breaking a window and entering a residence. Garnett was charged with Trespassing and Criminal Mischief, both Simple Misdemeanors.

A charge being filed is only an accusation, and those charged are innocent until proven guilty.
