Parked Car Damaged In Parking Lot Accident In Sheldon

sheldon pd police car rearSheldon, Iowa — A parked vehicle was damaged in an accident on Tuesday, September 24 in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 9:55 AM, 80-year-old Iona Anderson of Sheldon was driving a 2001 Chevy in the Fieldcrest parking lot. A 2013 Subaru owned by Lois Postma was parked in the lot.

Anderson was backing up in the lot and struck the Postma vehicle.

Postma’s Subaru received $1500 damage. Anderson’s Chevy was not damaged.

There were no injuries reported; and no charges were filed.
