Paullina Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Plymouth County

marijuana pot sxcAkron, Iowa — A Paullina man has been arrested in Akron on drug charges.

The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 11:30 AM on Saturday (8/31/13), one of their deputies arrested 21-year-old Austin David Traver of Paullina on charges of Possession of a controlled substance marijuana (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).

Traver was stopped on Reed Street in Akron for traffic violations.

Traver was found to be in possession of the marijuana and drug paraphernalia during the stop, and was arrested and jailed at the Plymouth County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

    Maybe they should be more worried about the people driving around drunk instead of controlling something that has no proven cases of death…and is legal in two states mind you..
