Peanut Butter And Jelly Drive Is Friday And Saturday

Sheldon, Iowa — Peanut butter and jelly. It’s a classic sandwich combination. This week, the Prairie Queen Kiwanis in Sheldon is collecting peanut butter and jelly to give to needy kids.

Dr. Ronald Zoutendam with Prairie Queen Kiwanis tells us that people can drop off peanut butter and jelly at three Sheldon locations on Friday and Saturday.

He says they will not be accepting peanut butter and jelly at Shopko this year. Again, they’ll be at Hy-Vee, Fareway, and Dollar General.

Dr. Zoutendam says that if you have a suggestion of another place that they could distribute the PB & J, just get a hold of one of their members.

According to Zoutendam, the Praire Queen Kiwanis continues to be very appreciative of the generosity of people who donate peanut butter and jelly. He says this has been one of the most successful projects that the club does.

Again, it’s this Friday from 8 to 6, and Saturday from 8 to 4.
