Power Outage Affecting Sheldon Area Customers On Monday Caused By Tree Limb

MidAmerican Energy confirms that the outage affected 690 Sheldon customers, plus some rural customers.
It started about 11:11 AM, and power was restored by 11:32 AM, according to MidAmerican.
They say that a tree limb fell on power lines in the 500 block of Second Avenue in Sheldon, causing the outage. Power was re-routed around the issue until repairs could be made to the line.
The area of the outage was in the northwest quadrant of Sheldon and northwest of Sheldon in the rural area.
Power was off for a total of 21 minutes.
