Prairie Heritage Center Celebrates Ten Years

Peterson, Iowa — The Prairie Heritage Center in southeast O’Brien County is celebrating ten years in existence, and some fun events are planned to celebrate.
Prairie Heritage Center
O’Brien County Conservation Board Naturalist Charlene Elyea tells us about a couple of them.

At the bison feed, which she says is an annual fundraising event, musicians Bill Carpenter and Mel Kimblad will provide the entertainment while you eat and visit with friends. She says this 10th anniversary event will be the highlight of the year.

For more information, you can call them at (712) 295-7200 or email occb@iowatelecom.net. Their web site is prairieheritagecenter.org.
