On Wednesday this week, former Republican Senator Rick Santorum will make appearances in Sibley, Rock Rapids and Sheldon.  Santorum will visit the Lantern Coffeehouse in Sibley Wednesday morning from 8 to 9 am, then head to Frontier Bank in Rock Rapids from 10 to 10:30 Wednesday morning, before making a 12:30 pm visit to the Pizza Ranch in Sheldon.

Thursday, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will return to the area with stops in Sioux Center, Rock Valley and Sheldon.  Huckabee will visit Interstates Companies in Sioux Center from 12:30 until 2 Thursday afternoon, then head to Valley Machine in Rock Valley for a 3 to 4 pm scheduled visit, before heading to Jard, Inc. at Sheldon from 5 to 6:30 Thursday evening.  People attending the Jard, Inc. visit are urged to bring your lawn chairs.

Despite some controversy, this coming Saturday, January 23rd, Donald Trump will hold a rally at the BJ Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College in Sioux Center, beginning at 11 am.  Some of the college’s alumni had protested the bombastic candidate’s appearance at Dordt, but college administrators say it will be held there.
