Prinsburg, MN Woman Injured In Hull Rollover Crash On Sunday

Hull AccidentHull, Iowa — A Prinsburg, Minnesota woman was injured in an accident in Hull on Sunday, January 19.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 11:40 AM, 20-year-old Jodi Van Otterloo of Prinsburg, MN was driving a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer southbound on Maple Street in Hull. Fifty-year-old Randall Baartman of Hull was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup eastbound on Third Street. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. After the crash, the Mercury rolled onto its side.

Van Otterloo was trapped in her vehicle and required non‐mechanical assistance from the Hull Fire Department to be extricated. Van Otterloo reported minor injuries but declined further medical attention.

The Mercury sustained about $13,000 in damages. The Chevrolet pickup sustained an estimated $4,500 in damages.

VanOtterloo was cited for failure to obey yield sign.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hull Fire Department and Hull Ambulance crew.
