Professional Illusionist To Be In Sioux Center Tonight

Date posted - October 25, 2012

A professional illusionist is going to be in Sioux Center tonight.

The Foster Grandparent & Senior Companion Programs present Reza tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the B.J. Haan Auditorium in Sioux Center.

Reza says his show is pretty amazing.

He says they make a motorcycle appear, make people disappear, re-appear, read minds, and more.

Reza wants to connect with his audiences and let them feel his magic on a personal level.

Reza says a lot of the magic is grand-scale, but they use things that people can relate to so they realize there are no gimmicks. He says they try to make magic new and fresh again.

He says there is one exception to that.

Reza says they do Houdini’s most famous trick — and even that, they update. In fact, he plans to break a world record at the show.

The show is a fundraiser for the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs, based in Rock Valley. The programs’ Angela Johnson tells us what they’re all about.

  1. Obama must be pretty worried if he is showing up here again. But why is this other guy in this article when the headline states that Obama will be there?
