Relay for Life “Pink Out”, Bake Sale and Tip Night Is Monday

Sheldon, Iowa — The O’Brien County Relay for Life Committee invites all O’Brien County employers and emploees to show your support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They are asking businesses across O’Brien County to wear pink during business hours on Monday, October 23rd, to show support for people affected by cancer of all kinds.

In addition, the O’Brien County Relay for Life Committee is hosting a bake sale Monday at both Hy-Vee and Fareway, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Freewill donations will be accepted.

Also Monday night, the Relay for Life Committee will be busing tables and accepting tips/donations from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Sheldon Pizza Ranch, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Organizers say if you can’t participate in any of the activities, but would like to donate, please mail your checks to:
