Ribbon Cut At Prairie Trail Village

Sheldon, Iowa — The ribbon was cut Wednesday morning on Sheldon’s new multi-family housing complex, Prairie Trail Village.

Sheldon Mayor Katricia Meendering was one of the dignitaries on hand for the ribbon cutting, and talked about how impressed she is with the new development.

Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth spoke on behalf of the SCDC, and talked about how much he appreciates the developer’s investment in the community.

The Prairie Trail Village development was built, and is owned by, Steve Boote’s Eagle Construction. SCDC Ambassador President Skip Tanner presented Boote with a segment of the ribbon from Wednesday’s ribbon cutting.

Developer Steve Boote praised the City of Sheldon and the SCDC for their efforts in making the development experience streamlined.

Ashley Bruske is the Property Manager for the Prairie Trail Village development, and she talked about a special rental deal available in conjunction with the ribbon cutting.

Boote says Eagle Construction has built similar developments in South Dakota, as well as Spirit Lake, Spencer, and Sheldon, here in northwest Iowa. Boote, who is an Orange City native, says they are doing dirt and concrete work now on a similar development in Orange City. In addition, he says they are preparing to start the second phase of their development plan in Spirit Lake.
