Ribbon Cut On Crossroads Pavilion

Sheldon, Iowa — A Ribbon Cutting was held Friday morning at the Crossroads Pavilion, the new event center located in the Sheldon Crossing area of the city.

Many Sheldon businesspeople and other dignitaries were on hand for the festivities, and Sheldon Mayor Katricia Meendering called the facility a “great new asset for the community.”

Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth echoed the mayor’s sentiments.

Sheldon Ambassadors President Skip Tanner presented a commemorative Ribbon Cutting Plaque to Crossroads Pavilion Manager Brittany Behrendsen.

Behrendsen says the new facillity can accomodate a wide variety of events.

Behrendsen says the Crossroads Pavilion can host up to 750 people for concerts, and up to 430 in a banquet setting.  She says the facility’s business hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Friday, and other times by appointment.  To arrange a tour of the facility, or for information on booking the Crossroads Pavilion, call 712-631-4336.
