Sheldon, Iowa — RiseFest, the annual Christian music festival presented by Rise Ministries of Sheldon, has announced additional performers for their 2017 festival, which is scheduled for June 16th and 17th in Sheldon.
Lee Stover of Rise Ministries reminds us of the acts that were previously announced for this year’s festival.
Rise Ministries Founder and President, Rob Roozeboom, says this year’s RiseFest will feature a performer from Season 8 of American Idol.
Roozeboom says that, in addition to the musical line-up, RiseFest has added an additional speaker for this year’s festival, as well.
He says RiseFest depends upon an army of volunteers to make the festival a success. Some 615 people volunteered to help with RiseFest 2016, and he says the need will be similar this year. Roozeboom says volunteer applications are now being accepted.
