Risefest Christian Music Festival Is This Saturday In Sheldon

Sheldon, Iowa – Risefest is almost here. The Christian music festival to be held at Sheldon Crossing will be this Saturday, June 16 in Sheldon.

Rob Roozeboom, founder and president of Rise Ministries, which developed Risefest, tells us what to tell our out-of-town guests when they ask, “How do I get to Risefest?”

Those attending Risefest should keep in mind that there will be no parking on Country Club Road from Highway 18 south to Ninth Street. Events get underway at 11 AM Saturday morning.

Also free parking for Risefest will be available in the field to the south of Taco John’s. This is a very large area which can accommodate a large number of vehicles.

Risefest 2012 will feature Christian music artists including Tenth Avenue North, Natalie Grant, Mark Schultz, Matt Maher, and Remedy Drive. There are several more activities as well, ranging from a pedal/paddle/run adventure race to extreme skateboarding to a kids zone.
