RiseFest Moving To Country Club Road Across From O’Brien County Implement
Date posted - September 4, 2013
Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s Outdoor Christian music festival is moving again. But this time they’re staying in town.
According to RISE Ministries founder and president Rob Roozeboom, after hosting RiseFest at the Sheldon Crossing on the intersection of Highways 18 and 60 for the past two summers, RISE Ministries has a new home for the festival for the next five years. Starting in 2014, he says RiseFest will now be held across from O’Brien County Implement on 66 and a half acres on Country Club Road. The bigger space leaves room to facilitate the growth seen over the course of the past two RiseFests by providing more room for parking and camping, which was introduced for the first time at RiseFest in 2013.
