Sheldon, Iowa — RiseFest, the Christian music festival held annually in Sheldon, is just over three weeks away, and the finishing touches are being put in place to be ready for the thousands of people who will attend the two-day festival.
Rise Ministries is the organization behind the annual RiseFest, and Rise Ministries Founder and President Rob Roozeboom says progress is being made on preparation of the RiseFest grounds.
Roozeboom says they have scheduled a Sheldon church youth group to come and assist with some of the remaining site preparation.
And with just over three weeks until RiseFest takes place, Roozeboom says volunteers are still needed.
RiseFest 2017 will be held at the RiseFest Grounds, across the street from O’Brien County Implement in northeast Sheldon on Friday June 16th, and Saturday June 17th.
