ys_2013-4Des Moines, Iowa— Founder and President of RISE Ministries, Rob Roozeboom, spent Super Bowl weekend as the keynote speaker at the Youth Strike for Christ conference in Des Moines, Iowa.

The conference’s theme was “Thrive.” Roozeboom delivered messages on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday while also leading small group, breakout sessions.  Over 450 students and youth leaders converged on Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium for the weekend.

“It was great to partner with the Youth Strike leadership team,” said Roozeboom. “We’ve been here the past two years to run our RISE booth. To come back again as a speaker was a great opportunity. It’s always a blessing to work with bands and good friends, like Remedy Drive, who joined us for a Saturday night concert.”

    Rob does a great job.

I am a youth leader at Grundy Center United Methodist Church, in Grundy Center, Iowa. We had 13 youth at the Strike Force and they talked all the way home about the things they heard and experienced. God’s message came through Rob, loud and clear. Grundy Center will not be the same, because of our week end.

We pray that God will continue to bless Rob and Rise Ministries. He truly blessed us with his words.
