Rock Island Clean Line windPrimghar, Iowa — The route that a wind energy power line was going to take in O’Brien County — has changed.

The Rock Island Clean Line Energy direct current wind power line route had to be changed, says O’Brien County Economic Development Director Kiana Johnson.

Not only will they be avoiding MidAmerican’s Highland wind farm, but the new route also avoids another area.
