Rock Rapids Man Injured, Hospitalized After Loader Bucket Falls On Him

lyon co ambulance sideRock Rapids, Iowa — A Rock Rapids man was seriously injured in a farm accident near Rock Rapids on Tuesday, December 3rd.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports they were alerted to the farm accident about 11:55 AM.

Sheriff’s Deputies, the Lyon County Ambulance crew, Rock Rapids Fire Department, and the Iowa State Patrol responded. The accident happened at 1734 US Highway 75 Avenue, about two miles south of Rock Rapids.

A man had a tractor loader bucket fall on him. The victim was transported to Sanford Rock Rapids by the Lyon County Ambulance.
