Rock Valley Man Arrested On Felony Drug Charges After Search For Stolen Property

Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley man was arrested on felony drug charges after a search for stolen property was conducted.

The Rock Valley Police Department reports that on Saturday, September 29, 2012, their officers conducted a search of a residence for stolen property. During that search 26-year-old Austin Mulder of Rock Valley was found to be in possession of several different un-prescribed medications, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Mulder was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance (4th offense), a class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit assisted the Rock Valley Police Department.
