Rock Valley Man Arrested On Lascivious Acts Charge

Rock Valley, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rock Valley man on Wednesday, September 6th.

According to the Sioux County arrest log, deputies arrested 43-year-old Daniel Lee DeBoer on a warrant issued by the Rock Valley Police Department. The Rock Valley Police charged DeBoer with Lascivious Acts With a Child, a class C felony; and simple assault, a simple misdemeanor.

Court records indicate that the incident in question allegedly happened six years ago, in the fall of 2011. Court records say she was trying to sleep at the time.

DeBoer was taken into custody and released the same day on a $10,500 bond.

If convicted of a Class C felony, DeBoer could face 10 years in prison and a fine of between a thousand and ten thousand dollars.
