Rock Valley Man Seeks Medical Attention After Car Versus Cow Accident

cow-sxcRock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley man sought medical attention after a car versus cow accident near Rock Valley on Sunday morning (3/17).

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 6:05 AM, 32-year-old Jose Pinedo of Rock Valley was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala eastbound on Highway 18, two miles east of Rock Valley, when his vehicle struck a cow on the roadway.

Pinedo reported minor injuries but declined medical treatment; he later sought medical attention on his own.

The Chevrolet sustained approximately $3,000 in damages.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Rock Valley Police Department.
