Saturday’s Gun Show Will Be Held – Opens At 10AM

revolver gun_sxcSheldon, Iowa — It will take more than a blizzard to cause area outdoorsmen and shooters to cancel a gun show.  The 6th Annual Sheldon Outdoor Sports & Gun Show will be held Saturday at the National Guard Armory in Sheldon.

The storm did cause organizers to push back the starting time by 2 hours later than originally planned.  Doors will open for exhibitor set-up at 6:30 am, with the doors opening to the general public at 10:00 am.

Ted Bruning of Southern Archery in Spencer is the show’s organizer, and he says this weekend’s 6th annual show promises to be the biggest yet.

He talks about some of the items Southern Archery will be bringing to the show on Saturday.

Bruning says that, in addition, Southern Archery will have a selection of lubricants, and accessories, as well as a group of guns at wholesale prices.

In addition to the vendor tables, the Sheldon Hy-Vee Kitchen will be on hand for concessions, including lunch.

Saturday’s 6th Annual Sheldon Outdoor Sports and Gun Show will be held from 10 am to 5 pm at the National Guard Armory, located at 920 Western Avenue in Sheldon, or about 3-1/2 blocks south of Highway 18 on Sheldon’s west side.
