Second Concert Of Civic Music Association Season In This Saturday

Sheldon, Iowa — The second concert of the Sheldon Civic Music Association season will take place this Saturday evening, November 18th, at Sheldon Community High School.

Appearing at Saturday evening’s concert will be Derik Nelson & Family. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Derik Nelson & Family’s signature sound features velvety three-part vocal harmonies. Siblings Derek, Rinan, and Dalten have been performing together since childhood.

The Nelson siblings have garnered more than 3.5-million views on YouTube, toured over 60 locations across the west coast, and reached over 12-thousand students with educational music workshops and assemblies.

Derek Nelson & Family will appear Saturday night at 7:30 in the auditorium at Sheldon Community High School.

The Association’s Concert Season began in October with the appearance of the Guthrie Brothers. Additional concerts will be held February 13th, when Main Street Souvenirs – Scott Kirby will take the stage. The final concert of the season will happen May 9th when Cahal Dunnes brings his Grand To Be Irish performance to Sheldon.
