Sheldon, Iowa — Vascular Disease affects many people. But experts say since it’s such a broad umbrella, most people don’t think of vascular disease as a problem that affects them.

Sanford vascular surgeon Dr. Patrick Kelly, who sees patients in Sheldon, among other locations tells us about vascular disease.


Dr. Kelly tells us what can be done to prevent vascular disease.


And Dr. Kelly says the best way to prevent type II diabetes is weight management. He also says that a vascular screening every few years is well worth the time and money.
