Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Celebration Days are about four weeks away, and people in Sheldon are getting ready.
Sheldon Chamber Coordinator Allison Cooke tells us that preparations continue for the annual festival, held over Labor Day weekend in Sheldon.
Cooke says they’re also still looking for parade entries. Technically, she says the parade registration date has passed.
She says they are somewhat selective when it comes to parade entries, and they do have some rules.
She says there are some new events this year, and preregistration is required for some of the events.
