Sheldon City Council Changes to Summer Hours…June 19th Meeting at 12:00 Noon

Date posted - June 18, 2013

New-Sheldon-SignSheldon, IA — The Sheldon City council will consider the sale of another lot in the Schemper Addition when they meet this Wednesday, June 18th.

They will also hear the second reading of an amended water and sewer ordinance.  This amendment provides for a regularly planned increase in rates to help cover escalating costs.  They will also consider a resolution renaming the Sheldon Crossing Plat which will not change the actual plan but is necessary because it will include an area known as ‘Outlet X’ that has not been platted before.

The Council will also consider a resolution to change the Speed Limit during the Highway 18 Improvement Project.  And, at twelve noon, they will hold a public hearing on the airport runway and taxiway rehabilitation project.

Please note that the council has now switched to their summer schedule.  Wednesday’s meeting begins at twelve noon in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
