Sheldon Community Theatre Doing "Leaving Iowa" For Celebration Days Show
Date posted - August 28, 2013
Sheldon, Iowa — As part of this weekend’s Celebration Days activities in Sheldon, Sheldon Community Theatre is doing the play “Leaving Iowa” by Tim Clue and Spike Manton on Thursday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon at the Sheldon High School Auditorium in Sheldon.
We had a chance to talk with director Karen Appleton about the show.
Appleton says the actors include those with some familiar names to northwest Iowa audiences.
Appleton says it’s a funny show and gives us a little idea of the plot.
She says there will be three performances.
Again, the show dates are Thursday, August 29th, Saturday, August 31st, and Sunday, September 1st. As usual, there will be no performance on Friday evening, due to the Sheldon Orabs’ first football game of the season.
