The council approved an Engineering contract that is close to $100,000 plus another $25,000 for additional mtgs drawings etc. Almost $125,000. Now if this is brought to a vote for the citizens of Sheldon to approve, what happens to that $125,000?

Does down town need some improvements, of course it does. Does it need this much, of course it don’t. Other surrounding communities have done the so called bump outs and then spent a ton of money taking them back out. Our main street in not wide enough for this. After changing the parking to what it is now there is not enough room for to full size vehicles to meet on the street. If there is any improvement that should be made it would be how to change the angle of the parking so a person can see if there is anyone coming when trying to back out.

Make a clean normal main street so the average person is comfortable coming to town to do their shopping and leave all the gimmicks for someone else to deal with.
