Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon High School Dance Team are headed for Des Moines for this year’s Iowa State Dance Team Association State Dance Competition.
According to Dance Team Sponsor Alexa Neumann, the girls will be performing a lyrical and jazz routine Thursday (November 29th).
The Sheldon team’s Class III jazz routine is scheduled for 1:00 Thursday afternoon at the Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines, with their Class I lyrical routine scheduled for 7:10 Thursday evening at Wells Fargo Arena.
The competition, which runs Thursday and Friday, is the Orab Dance Team’s State competition through the Iowa State Dance Team Association, or ISDTA, and is the highlight of their dance season, according to Neumann
The team will return from the state competition around noon on Friday.
