Sheldon Firefighters Extricate Man Caught In Machinery

Sheldon, Iowa — Emergency workers from the Sheldon Community Ambulance Team and the Sheldon Fire Company were called out this (Monday, January 15th) morning shortly before 9:10 for a man whose arm was caught in machinery at Ag Partners South in Sheldon.

Sheldon Assistant Fire Chief Randy Harms says firefighters extricated the man’s arm from the machine, and he was then transported to the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center by SCAT.

The name of the injured, along with his condition, have not been released.

Harms says firefighters were back at the station after about 30-minutes on-scene.
