Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon High School has announced the names of the 2018 Homecoming candidates.
Sheldon 2018 Homecoming Queen Candidates include:
Ashlyn Albrecht the daughter of Brian & Mindy Albrecht
Mary Margaret Borer, the daughter of Cory & Jo Borer
Gracie Elgersma, the daughter of Darla & Lee Reuvers and Corey & Teri Elgersma
Annie Groeneweg, the daughter of Ryan & Tonia Groeneweg
Trista Helmers, the daughter of Matt Helmers and Shanelle & Dan Matus
2018 Orab Homecoming King Candidates are:
Bryant Dykstra son of Donna Dykstra and the late Keith Dykstra
Andy Fjeld son of Don & Noelle Fjeld
Jesse Hickman son of King & Kecia Hickman
Marshall Kleinhesselink son of Mike & Rachel Kleinhesselink
Tyler Lode son of Kelly & Lana Lode
The Homecoming candidates will be riding in Monday’s Celebration Days Parade. The King and Queen will be crowned on Tuesday, September 18th during a Coronation Ceremony in the Sheldon High School Gym, and will reign over the week’s Homecoming festivities.
