Sheldon Man Stabbed Sunday Night

sheldon police pd car door logoSheldon, Iowa — A 29-year old Sheldon man received a stab wound in an incident on the south side of Sheldon early Sunday evening.

According to the Sheldon Police Department, they were dispatched to a call reporting a stabbing at 1503 South 2nd Avenue, Trailer #9 in Sheldon, at about 6:45 Sunday evening.

Police say that 29-year old Scott Michael Harrison of Sheldon had been stabbed in the chest by his wife, Kendra Goeden.  Police describe the incident as a domestic situation.

Harrison was transported to the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center by the Sheldon Community Ambulance Team with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that an investigation into the incident is on-going, and no charges have been filed.

The Sheldon Police Department was assisted by Deputies from the O’Brien and Sioux County Sheriff’s Departments.
