Sheldon Man’s Minivan, Postal Vehicle Damaged In Sheldon Fender-Bender

law lightbar blueSheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon man’s minivan and a delivery vehicle driven by a George man were damaged in an accident on Saturday (2/2) in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 1:30 PM, 57-year-old Kerwin Sterler of Sheldon was northbound in the Sunset Plaza Trailer Court in a 2001 Dodge. Forty-six-year-old Robert Klingenberg of George was also northbound in the trailer court in a United States Postal Service delivery vehicle.

Sterler decided to back up and backed into the delivery vehicle behind him.

Sterler’s Dodge received $500 damage. The USPS delivery vehicle received $1000 damage.

There were no injuries reported.
