Sheldon McDonald’s Holds Grand Reopening, Ribbon Cutting

Sheldon, Iowa — A ribbon cutting was held for the Grand Reopening of a Sheldon fast food restaurant Wednesday morning.

The Sheldon McDonald’s dining room has been closed for the past several weeks to allow a complete remodel, and their Grand Reopening and ribbon cutting were celebrated Wednesday. During the ribbon cutting, Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth spoke on behalf of the City of Sheldon.

Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation President Mark Ten Clay echoed Strouth’s sentiments.

On behalf of the Ambassadors, President Skip Tanner presented McDonald’s with a plaque containing a section of the ribbon from Wednesday’s ribbon cutting.

The owner of the Sheldon McDonald’s, Jordan Hartshorn, extended his thanks for the support the Sheldon restaurant has experienced.

Hartshorn also talked about a partnership that will raise money for a Sheldon school.

McDonald’s is located in the Sheldon Crossing area of eastern Sheldon.
