Sheldon Memorial Day Service Will Be Broadcast On Delay

Sheldon, Iowa — Memorial Day is a day to honor the memory of those military men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in support of their country.

Sheldon’s Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 10:00 Monday morning in the Sheldon High School Auditorium.  Musical selections will be performed by the Sheldon High School Band.

Participating in the service are the American Legion, Sheldon High School Band, and several community residents. The guest speaker will be Pastor Cory Van Sloten of the Lebanon Christian Reformed Church. This service is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend and pay tribute to those who have served our country.

If you are unable to attend Monday’s Sheldon Memorial Day ceremony, it will be recorded live, with the recording played on KIWA AM 1550 and FM 100.7 on Monday at noon, in a delayed broadcast of the event.

Remember, the actual ceremony will be held Monday morning at 10:00 at the Sheldon High School, and the delayed broadcast of the event will take place at noon Monday on KIWA AM 1550 and FM 100.7.
