One is called Trilogy Village which will be located near Fieldcrest and the other, known as Sheldon Crossing Residential Development, is located east of the Country Club road area.
The Planning and Zoning Commission has approved both the preliminary plat and final plat of Trilogy Village as well as a preliminary plat of Sheldon Crossing.Fieldcrest Assisted Living will be adding approximately twelve more assisted living units and twelve Alzheimer units. The city will install the infrastructure to Fieldcrest and to the area owned by the city, where the City of Sheldon will develop approximately sixteen lots. The SCDC has requested the City to also install the infrastructure to the Sheldon Crossing Residential Development.
There will be approximately 57 lots with one lot being somewhat larger to possibly accommodate a multi-residential apartment complex. Access to the development will be from 34th Avenue where the street will be extended off the round-about, or via the newly proposed street which would be extended to Country Club Road between the home of Larry and Vivian Rozeboom and the home of Lori Letner Groot. There will also be an eight foot sidewalk off of Country Club
Road into the development connecting with the Sheldon Recreational Trails.When the Sheldon City Council meets Wednesday they will set a date and time for a public hearing on the Trilogy Plat.
