Sheldon Police Arrest Four, Cite Two, Investigate Incidents

Sheldon, Iowa — In the latest from the Sheldon Police, they report four arrests, two citations, and a number of other incidents.
The police cited 24-year-old Shane Michael Klien of Cherokee on Sunday (7/1) on a charge of Assault.
Someone on 11th Street reported that sometime on Saturday (6/30) or Sunday (7/1), their yard was vandalized. Twenty-five feet of white picket fence valued at $200 was damaged, as were eight trees and shrubs valued at $500, and 3 bird houses valued at $60.
The police report they arrested 21-year-old Jose Flores of Sheldon on Monday (7/2) for driving without a license.
They also arrested 28-year-old Hector Ortiz of Sheldon on Monday for Driving While Suspended.
Twenty-six-year-old Elias Lopez-Alvarez of Sheldon was arrested on Tuesday (7/3) for driving without a license and no proof of insurance.
The same charges were made on 23-year-old Esli Aguilera-Tolentino of Sheldon on Thursday (7/5).
All four were transported to jail in Primghar.
Forty-eight-year-old Jayne Davis of Sheldon was cited for Dogs At Large on Tuesday (7/3).
The police also report that a victim reported he was assaulted on North 5th Avenue near Oak Street on Tuesday (7/3). The incident is under investigation.
Sheldon Police also report that two victims reported they were assaulted in the 1100 block of South 3rd Avenue on July 4th. That incident is also under investigation.
