Sheldon Police Arrest One, Cover Parking Lot Accident

Sheldon, Iowa — In the latest from the Sheldon Police Department:

The police arrested 31-year-old Priscilla Sanabria of Sheldon on Monday (12/3) on a charge of Driving Under Suspension. She was taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.

A Sheldon woman’s SUV and a McCook Lake woman’s car were damaged in an accident on Thursday (12/6) in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 8:35 AM, 51-year-old Darla Sauer of Sheldon was eastbound in the Sheldon Plaza Parking Lot in eastern Sheldon in a 2005 Dodge Durango. Thirty-six-year-old Michele Lewon of McCook Lake, SD was driving a 2008 Chrysler, and backed northbound out of a parking space into Sauer’s vehicle.

The report says both drivers’ vision was obscured by a truck.

Sauer’s Dodge Durango received $1500 damage. Lewon’s Chrysler received $2000 damage.

No charges were filed.
