Sheldon Police Arrest One On Assault Charge, Two On Warrants

Sheldon, Iowa — In the latest from the Sheldon Police Department:

The police arrested 63-year-old Jeroy Van Middendorp of Sheldon on Tuesday on a warrant for Contempt of Court on an original charge of harassment. He was taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.

The police also say that on Wednesday, a victim reported being assaulted at a home on Park Row Avenue on October 2nd. The assault caused major injuries including unconsciousness. The police arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Megason of Sheldon and charged him with Assault Causing Injury. He was taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.

The Police also arrested 26-year-old Sarah King of Sheldon on Tuesday on a Sioux County warrant for contempt on an original charge of failure to pay obligations. She too was taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.
