Sheldon Police Make Arrests, Cover Accident

The police arrested 52-year-old John Brown of St. Paul, Minnesota on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Holiday Inn Express. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and was taken into custody.
On Saturday (October 26th), the police arrested 25-year-old Brandon McCuddin of Sheldon on a Minnesota warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. McCuddin was taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.
Officers also arrested 28-year-old Luis De Jesus of Sheldon on Friday, on an O’Brien County Warrant for Domestic Abuse. He was also taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.
Two cars driven by Sheldon men were damaged in an accident on Monday, October 28 in Sheldon.
The Sheldon Police Department reports that about 7:35 AM, 77-year-old Wallace Fiddelke of Sheldon was southbound on Third Avenue in a 1998 Mercury. Forty-nine-year-old Robert Greathouse of Sheldon was westbound on Sixth Street in a 1994 Dodge.
The report says Greathouse failed to yield and struck the Fiddelke vehicle.
Fiddelke’s Mercury received $3000 damage. Greathouse’s Dodge received $1500 damage.
There were no injuries reported.
Greathouse was charged with Failure to Obey a Yield Sign.
