Sheldon Police Make Arrests, Take Reports

The police arrested 34-year-old John Wild of Sheldon on Sunday, August 4. He was charged with Serious Assault Causing Injury.

The police arrested 42-year-old Brian Ramsey of Sheldon on Wednesday, August 7. He was charged with Driving Under Suspension.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Ronald Roberts of Granville on Tuesday (8/13/13). He was also charged with Driving Under Suspension.

All three were taken to jail in Primghar.


On Tuesday (8/13), the police cited 49-year-old Dale Timmerman of Sibley with three counts of Credit Card Theft. One of them was a Class D Felony, the other two were aggravated misdemeanors. He was cited and released.

Sheldon police also took a report of a burglary at an address on South Eighth Avenue. Stolen was $1500 worth of tools. Some of them were power tools and some were new in the case. It happened sometime between midnight and 5 PM on Saturday the 10th.

Officers also took a report of a burglary on B Street in Sheldon on Sunday. It happened between 11:30 PM on Saturday the 10th and 2 PM on Sunday the 11th. Taken was a 6-horsepower Johnson outboard motor and a 6-inch Jiffy ice auger, valued at a combined total of $1000.

On Monday evening (8/12), the Sheldon Plaza Convenience Store reported a gas drive off. $10 worth of gas was taken.
