Sheldon, Iowa — It only took a very short time for the public to identify a suspect whose image was captured by surveillance cameras in connection with a shoplifting incident.
We posted the photos of the suspect shortly after 5:30 Tuesday afternoon, and received notice from Sheldon Police Officer Jett Korver that the individual had been identified less than thirty minutes later.
Korver thanks the public for their assistance.

Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying an individual who is suspected in a shoplifting incident.
Sheldon Police Officer Jett Korver says the individual is suspected in an incident at Bomgaars in Sheldon. Korver says the incident remains under investigation, so no further information can be divulged at this time.
