Sheldon Police Report Busy Weekend

The Sheldon Police Department reports a busy weekend. Police say they broke up a party on Rainbow Drive early Saturday morning. As a result, 9 individuals, ages 19 and 20, were charged with being in possession of alcohol under the legal age. All 9 were cited and released.

An Orange City man was arrested early Saturday for Driving While License Revoked. 54-year old Antonio Gorza-Velez was stopped in the 300 block of West 7th Street in Sheldon. He was taken into custody and transported to the O’Brien County Jail.

Early Saturday evening, a 34-year old Sheldon man was charged with Possession Of Marijuana and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia. Jon Michael Rosenboom was cited by police and released.

Approximately 3:15 Sunday morning a 27-year old Sheldon woman was arrested and charged with 2nd Offense OWI. Sarah Reiter was picked up at the intersection of North 2nd Avenue and North 5th Street in Sheldon.
