Sheldon Police Take More Reports Of Thefts Of Items From Vehicles, Other Incidents

The police say Dave’s Auto Wash called to report that someone had damaged the right side of their auto wash machine. Damage was estimated at $200.
The Police also say that someone on 8th Street reported a broken double-pane window, valued at $300. The police arrested 22-year-old Brandon Ackerman and 23-year-old Kody Wills, both of Sibley, and 22-year-old Derrick Hoffman of Meriden in connection with the incident. Ackerman was charged with OWI, and Wills and Hoffman were both charged with Disorderly Conduct and Fourth Degree Criminal Mischief. All three were transported to jail in Primghar.
Someone on Tenth Street reported that a Garmin GPS unit and $3.00 in change was stolen from their vehicle on Tuesday the 12th or Wednesday the 13th. The combined value was $113.
Someone on Second Avenue reported the theft of a wireless computer router on Wednesday the 13th. It was valued at $100.
Someone on Fifth Avenue reported the theft of a Tom Tom GPS, credit cards, a tablet computer charger and a wallet from their vehicle, sometime on Tuesday the 12th or Wednesday the 13th. The goods were valued at a combined total of $95.
