Sheldon Police Take Report Of Stolen Tools, Arrest Two In Three Separate Incidents

In the latest from the Sheldon Police Department,

Hy-Vee in Sheldon reported the theft of several tools last week, including two pair of pliers, a wire cutter, an aluminum flashlight and a screwdriver, valued at a combined total of $22.08. The police are investigating.

The police arrested 29-year-old Angela Heideman of Sheldon on Tuesday, July 17th, on a Sioux County warrant for probation violation. She was taken into custody.

On Wednesday, someone on East Ninth Street reported that their 8 x 10 picture frame had been damaged. It was valued at $65. In connection with the incident, the police arrested 28-year-old Dustin Lokhorst of Sheldon, and charged him with Interference with Official Acts, Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree, Reckless Driving, and Putting Debris on a Highway. He was also taken into custody and transported to jail in Primghar.

    Reckless driving? I guess he will never learn.

      So true. According to Iowa Courts Online, this is the 6th “careless” or “reckless” driving charge on his record, not to mention dozens of speeding tickets, driving while suspended, assault, criminal mischief, etc. And he only gets a slap on the wrist each time, even when his recklessness got someone killed.
