Sheldon Police Take Reports Of Missing Cell Phone; Credit Card Fraud

Sheldon officers took the report of the theft of a cell phone and cash from City Park on Monday, August 4th at 10:30 AM. The theft is thought to have occurred between 6 PM and 8 PM on Sunday, August 3rd. A Sheldon resident says he thinks someone took his HTC cell phone and $12 in cash. The cell phone was valued at $600.

Sheldon Police officers also took the report on Wednesday, August 6th of fraudulent use of a credit card. A Sheldon woman claims someone used her Discover card to purchase $900 worth of merchandise from Best Buy. The crime is thought to have occurred on Monday, August 4th, and was reported on Wednesday, August 6th.
