Over 40 Attend Impromptu Rally In Support Of Police

Over 40 people attended an impromptu rally in Sheldon in support of law enforcement officers in the area at noon on Monday.

The Facebook post that invited people to the rally asked people to “Stand silently together as a community to thank our local law enforcement and show what a great community we live in.”

The rally at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Ninth Streets was near the Sheldon Community Services Center.

Four Sheldon Police officers were in attendance as well. They told KIWA that they appreciated the support.
